Hey do you remember Joseph in the bible? Well did you know that Joseph's own brothers sold him into slavery, out of pure jealousy. Slavery! They had so much hatred in their hearts towards Joseph. They lied to their father and told him Joseph had been killed by an animal while out hunting. Joseph was made a prisoner in Pharoah's kingdom, but while he was there God showed him favor and Pharoah made him in charge of all of Egypt. Now think about this, what his brothers meant for his bad, God turned around made it work out for his good. Later on Joseph's brothers ended up needing Joseph because a horrible famine had come across the land. Joseph was kind to them and gave them food in the midst of the famine in spite of what they had done to him.
Many times we let small things come between us and our families'. An argument, disagreement, or even money issues has has nothing on being sold into SLAVERY. Let it go, forgive. God still heals and that includes hearts.

Happy New Year
Another year has passed. Did you accomplish all the things you wanted to? Did you reach all the goals you set for 2009? Why or why didn't you? What will you do to make your 2010 better? I personally will be the first to admit I was the biggest procrastinator this year. I have no real valid excuse for why I waited to do things I know I should have been doing or even things God asked me to do, besides fear. Fear of what people would say how I'd be looked at, or what I'd have to go through. I have decided this year will not be that way. The enemy loves when we're afraid. I won't allow him to have that victory again. I won't beat myself up about the past year but I will take the New Year head on, full force. I have to make up for lost time. This year will be a year of goal reaching, successful, empowering, and motivating, up building, restoring, educating, multiplying, and contagious victories. People will be blessed, because you have simply decided not to procrastinate but walk in you’re what you're supposed to be doing.

Uncomfortable
Hello everyone. I know it has been a little while since I last wrote. Sometimes it will be like that because I don't ever want to post something just to post it. I want to say only what God will have me say and when he'd have me to say it. Have you ever been in a state of complete confusion? You don't know what it is but you can't put your finger on what's really bothering you. You feel so out of the loop, like there is a tug of war going on inside of you. You want to do what's right. You want to live for God, but it seems everyone who is not living for God is the happy ones. This is a trick of the enemy. He has us so fooled into thinking materialistic things and status is so important. I know it gets so hard sometimes not to want to do all the wrong things, because you figure it's more rewarding. What do you say to your brother or sister who feels like their back is up against a wall?

Squatters
Imagine you're in a basketball game. (Come on really think on it.) You've been doing pretty well in the game. You're very athletic and you usually don't have to try as hard to make baskets, you give it just a minimal try and you score sometimes and sometimes you don't. Now imagine your daddy (or any person who means the WORLD to you) is sitting in the bleachers at your game. The score is tied and the ball is passed to you. You run down court and right before you shoot the ball, you squat down to jump higher than you've ever jumped before. You want to make this winning basket no matter how awkward you look, no matter how far down you have to squat, no matter how tired you are. You're daddy is watching and you want him to leap off the seat when you score. This is the same thing we should be doing for God. Kill your flesh! Squat! No matter how awkward the situation may seem, God is going to elevate you from Glory to Glory to Glory. We want God to say WELL DONE when we make it to heaven. Let's make our heavenly father leap off his throne with excitement about how we are living our lives.

Which route will you take?
I know at times it may be so hard to fit in, if your a Jesus freak. You feel like status is so important and you want everyone to like you. You want to be accepted. It seems like it's not cool to be saved. When really it is actually. The perks are literally out of this world. We give all the wrong people the power to hold our seal, our seal of approval. Give you're stamp to God! He is the only one who matters. God loves us so much and he won't lead us in the wrong direction. Boy, if we could only trust him! The thing is... God already has a plan and purpose for your life. How you choose to get to the place God needs you to be is up to you (free will). You can make the journey short and sweet and live out your life for God or you can fight and run and go through things you could have avoided. It's one thing to freely go before God and get on your knees and worship him. It's another thing when you've encountered a situation that brought you to your knees to cryout to God. If I were God I'd be pretty upset that I give you the opporunity to worship (to tell God how awesome and Holy he is) and spend time with me, but it never works until you need me.Yet he loves us so much he would give his very own son to die for us. How would you feel if this was done to you and you've given life, health, strength, healed sickness, has been there when there were no friends to run to, made provision after provision? How would you feel if your parents said to you, "For everyone else's sin you must pay and the wage is death." Think about just YOUR own sin, but now you have to take on everyone else's. Whew! Every knee WILL bow.You choose how you will bow.
Take a moment and spend an intimate moment with your God.... Just say Lord, help me to stay on track with the plan you have for my life. Help me to remember there are things that can be avoided if I just worship you and leave it in your hands. Thank you for giving your son Jesus, so I wouldn't have to overcome the world. God you have all the power and all the Glory belongs to you. Thank you for your will for my life.

I need my alone time
So I have been thinking about church lately.... I know I know, don't be to controversial. I'm not trying to be, just speaking from the heart. I have grown out of church as usual. The same two people shouting every Sunday, all the going through the motions. I'm ready for something miraculous, something extraordinary. We always say, "have your way God, let your will be done Lord," and so many other things that aren't truly coming from the depths of our hearts because we have other agendas. To be in the presence of our God is one of the most sacred experiences ever. We haven't even scratched the surface of what our God can do, for us his children. You'll know you've really been there, when you have the desire to get to that place again and again and again. My mom said it best, we will spend hours upon hours on social media networks, such as Twitter and Facebook, but some days we'll go a whole entire day without even speaking to our God. Not so much as a thank you for waking me up this morning. We all have done it, even me. I challenge you and myself to commit to some sacred alone time with God and watch the difference it will make in your life. No matter how young or old. That's when miraculous, extraordinary things will start to take place. Do you need something extraordinary to happen?

Who's Pregnant?
YOU have this plan for your life and YOU know where YOU want to go. There are things in you that are dying to come out. Ideas, inventions, visions. YOU don't know where the resources are going to come from. YOU don't know where to begin but YOU can feel it as if you're already in your season, as if it is so. Its so close, right on the verge. You're looking for and trying everything under the sun to birth it. You're at the end of your rope. You can't stand to hear another "No". Keyword,YOU. When YOU decide in your heart, not my will Lord but YOUR will be done, squeeze the doctor's hands the baby is coming. Hold on to God, jump on his back, ride the wave all the way to glory. Victory is yours! You're never too young or old to apply this principle to your life. God will restore things you never thought you could get back. Just when you thought the boat has sailed, God will cause the yacht to be the next mode of transportation to your breakthrough. Don't settle for the boat. Who will decide God let YOUR will be done in my life? Whatever it is Lord I am willing and ready to do it, all for your Glory.
